Like all my tails, it has around 8 hours of hand work in every single one. Each tail is unique, but I do my best to stock the most commonly requested colours and styles on my website.
Most of my work, however, is made to order — so if you need assistance, just send me a message. You’ll be speaking directly with me, the tail maker.
I’m a boutique tail maker, not a large-scale, off-the-rack seller.

- Thickness: Triple measured around over 5 inches pulled tight
- Length: 63 cm cut end hair length
- Loop top: Double loop top can be used as 1
- Fully wigged, handmade by Jocelyn and tagged at the base.

Why choose an Equine Image tail?
Unlike imported cloth loop tails from China (which are triple only at 510g for 95 cm cut to 80 cm, or 75 cm cut to 60 cm; doubles 340g), mine are fully wigged and weighted for a natural look and balance.
With over 20 years’ experience in making and repairing false tails, mane extensions, false plaits, and forelocks, I use only high-quality horse hair — all Australian made.
Length Suitability Guide:
- Under 75 cm — Suitable for most Ponies and Galloways
- 75–90 cm — Suitable for most Stock Horses/Hacks
- 90 cm+ — Suitable for most Quarter Horses
