At Equine Image, we create the perfect look for you and your horse in the show ring.

Every tail is Australian 🇦🇺 made, fully hand-wigged and individually tagged by Jocelyn. Each tail takes around 8 hours of work and is individually crafted with care.

I’m a boutique tail maker, not a mass-production seller, so most tails are made to order. If you need help choosing the right tail, simply message me — you’ll be dealing directly with the maker, Jocelyn.

Colour:  Chestnut Blend - mix of light chestnut/ dark chestnut/ chestnut some flaxens - a blending tail 

Thickness:  Full plus - just over 1.5 times has 350g which is a China cloth loop Double 

Length:  76 cm not including loop natural end but full to base 

Loop Top: Single

Measurements are taken pulled tight under the knot system.

• 3 inches – Single Thickness
• 3.5 inches – Full Plus — approximately 1.5 × thickness
• 4 inches – Double Thickness
• 4.5 inches – Double Plus — approximately 2.5 × thickness
• 5 inches – Triple Thickness

• Under 75 cm – Ponies & Galloways
• 75–90 cm – Stock Horses, Hacks & Dressage
• 90 cm+ – QHorses, Dressage & Warmbloods over 16hh
